Television CEO Prohibits Conservative Talk Show Even If Got 100 Share

While I was being considered for hire, to move my G rated relationship show to KOIN one of New Vision's largest television stations, I was asked by the local GM to examine the competition and see if I had any other programming ideas. I then made what I considered to be a cogent argument for my "Accountability" conservative talk show. I pointed out that the top TV, radio and non-fiction books were all conservative. Then when you factor in the Tea Party movement plus the fact that twice as many people consider themselves conservative as consider themselves liberal you had a recipe for success. Keeping in mind that New Vision was in Chapter 11 at the time, I was under the apparently mistaken impression that financial success would trump liberal ideology. As you can see from the terse email response I pasted below from New Vision's Chairman and CEO I was dead wrong!

I am sorry to tell you Lisa that every one of the conservative hosts you speak of makes me sick and they hurt America terribly. They are full of hate and misinformation. We would not put a conservative talk show on any New Vision property even if it got a 100 share!

These Ivy League elitists running our Federal Government and major media are all concerned about one thing selling liberalism to we the people. They don't care who they have to bribe, coheres, blackmail, or indoctrinate because to them the end does indeed justify the means.
