After trying unsuccessfully to work with and the gain the support of the Republican establishment for myself and several Congressional candidates under my management, I find it refreshing to see these three Constitutionally eligible, non-establishment candidates seeking election to the highest office in the land.
ReplyDeleteLet's not forget that one of our greatest Presidents, Republican Dwight D. Eisenhower, entered the Oval Office without ever having served as an elected official. Like Dr. Ben Carson, President Eisenhower too was a man of faith with a fresh apolitical perspective. Ike's policies boosted prosperity for every man, woman and child in America. Since the enactment of the 15th Amendment which freed the former slaves to vote, Eisenhower became the first President to sign civil rights legislation in 1957 & 1960, protecting that precious right to vote for all U.S. citizens regardless of their race. Both civil rights bills were hotly contested by the racist Southern Democrats in Congress, so it is no wonder that Dr. Ben Carson is running for the Presidency as a Republican.
As a young black man raised in poverty, Ben Carson's rage nearly cursed him into a life of crime, but at a critical turning point in his life God revealed his boundless love for him through his son Jesus Christ. Our Lord granted Ben a brilliant mind, guiding him as he pioneered lifesaving techniques in brain surgery. Perhaps if our fellow countrymen & women were to recognize this extraordinary opportunity to elect a man of God to lead our country, the USA could retain our Holy anointed position in God's eyes.
