Letter to Mayor Wheeler to Correct the Record

Mayor Wheeler,

I'm requesting that you please correct the narrative you put out last week suggesting that Jeremy Christian, the max train murderer was associated with the "Alt Right" Trump Conservative Free Speech rally.

Northwest media outlets like KOIN 6, OPB, King5 News & other liberal media outlets parroted this false narrative resulting in an enraged public & dangerous hate from democrat affiliated groups like AntiFa, SEIU, BLM, BAMN, etc..  It has gotten to the point in your city that everyday conservatives are afraid to speak.  Perhaps your statements were a reaction from mis calculated emotion but it seems this was the result you intended??

I don't live in Portland but I visit family & friends who are there.   For this reason I decided I must support / attend the Pro Trump Free Speech event & help try to correct this Divisive & False narrative.

Jeremy Christian was not a Trump supporter. He threatened Trump supporters & had been kicked out of a Trump event for being extreme & Racist.   People have pointed this out to you & Portland Media but apparently you don't want to admit you are wrong.

You called out Our President Trump to bring leadership to this issue but I'm sure I speak for many when I say it is time for you to lead because Portland, the "Rose City" is now on the national stage for Extreme Leftwing Intolerance. There are negative economic consequences for this culture. People & new businesses are Not investing in Portland. As a monthly visitor I can see the city is growing at slow & stop if at all... Also - the Government Media hacks at Oregon Public Broadcasting are now Whining about the 3%ers helping police arrest the masked democrats who invaded an otherwise Peaceful Trump rally.
